Thats Goldie. She was my trusty Concours for a while. I recently sold her to one of the guys in my club. She had over 100k when she retired to easier days :)

Omg. Just looked on your Facebook page. That dude in the NASA suit died? That makes me so sad. First motorcyclist i ever "knew" who died. Always got a kick out of his NASA patch though I can't remember if I ever talked to him.

Sorry to everyone who knew him.

Yeah, that dude was my friend and mentor John Ryan. One of the best motorcyclists i will ever have met.

OK, so I just went on The Drive.

157-18 26th Avenue is nice but comparatively moderate. It's not the mind blower some of the others are. Just FYI. Still nice.

166th Street and 23rd Avenue was MOBBED.

185-07 80th Drive is a duplicate for 80th Drive and Chevy Chase. Duh. It's stunning. Thankfully not as mobbed, but busy.

56th Avenue and 214th Street is awesome. Two houses hooked up side by side with the lighting synched to several different pieces of music.

Found a new place while wandering, very nicely lit:
212th Street and 47th Avenue.

Anyone who cares for model railroads needs to go to the Ridgewood spot.

The place in Neponsit is at Beach 144th, not 143rd.

And Rockaway, at least the section between Cross Bay and Marine Parkway, is fairly festive. Not quite to the extent that Howard Beach used to be or that parts of Bay Ridge are now, but nice.

Again, if anyone has anything to contribute please jump in.

In Brooklyn,

There are several homes on National Drive in Mill basin that had some serious lighting. Also Bergen Beach, which is just pass Mill Basin.

Last two years, Mill Basin and Bergen Beach had essentially nothing. Didn't even check this year. Has anything changed?? It was outstanding maybe three years ago.

Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't realize. I haven't been in that area for a few years. Next to Dyker Heights, National Drive was always my favorite. I know Bergen Beach got hit from Sandy pretty bad, I wonder if that had anything to do with it.
