I believe that JD did fresh steering head bearings this spring on Abe's bike, so he should be good for, umm, well perhaps it is time again.

lol I doubt they're NYC residents because if they were - they would run the fuck outta my way. Since they didn't, I think I can safely say they're not from NYC

so just watch out for non-NYC jaywalkers

I think I took 5 years off their life.

i guess you guys will just have to be legit like me. sorry your vagina is sandy, tipsy...i suppose if you could do it you might have a different perspective.

the reports of my new steering head bearings have been greatly exaggerated. they were/are fine at 23,000miles.

just stopped by at BMW Manhattan today to get some more oil. I spied a yellow G650 with ADV dakar sticker on windshield.

now... who in their right mind would entrust their bike to that place?

at least they won't touch my bike. I like to keep it stock on most parts - plenty of bikes with stock parts out there lasting far longer than your dog. But there's NO way in hell would I ever entrust my bike to that dealership mechanic ever again. They fucked up big time on my bike which could have resulted in costly repair (or a face plant). Thanks god JD caught their mistakes before that happened.

hhmm I usually tend to stick with stock version since the supply isn't always an issue but I'll give it a thought about shell rotella. thanks for suggestion!

Thanks JD for picking up the tire for me!!! I wouldn't have been able to do the ride in the Pinies without it. I wish I had a better front tire for the sand I dug the front tire in some deep sand and did a 180 turn. .. . . ouch!!!

Other than that the KLR did pretty good considering (380 lb bike, 260 lb rider and about 10 lbs of gear in the pelican).

Thanks again John, you da man!!!
