What the hell do I know?

When you first posted, you didnt say it was a camera ticket, I thought you had received it from an officer. Camera ticket is difficult to beat and since it carries no points on your license, most people just pay it. That's what I woulda suggested. Sorry.

No biggie, I'm just pissed that the light is rigged.... I'll just pay it. I'll video tape the light before Houston and post it on YouTube so others can see what goes on in NYC.

I'd also heard that the lights were adjusted by the camera company. They take the bigger part of the fee split with the city for each ticket.

I don't know about that particular ticket, but I know the DMV can also hold up your registration, etc. if you have outstanding tickets.

My daughter got a camera ticket when she was younger. She was stopped at a light in the Bronx, having just gotten off the Randall Ave exit of the Cross Bx and about to get on the Bx River. 2AM and 2 guys start walking up to her car, she was afraid and went through on the red, picture taken.

Pleaded not guilty with predictable city outcome, denied.

My favorite was the camera at the end of Pelham Pkwy in the Bx, by the Hutch, which had several bullet holes in it.

I see that you lifted your sig from the novel, not the movie. The reason I like the movie line better is what comes right after the "stinkin' badges" part...

"Why don't you try to be a little more polite?"
i don't know why, but that's always cracked me up.

That's a great shot. Classic decisive moment.

Figures you'd be out looking for a bakery.

Loved the movie, same for almost every movie Bogart was in. Would have liked the bandito to repeat the actual line from the book, but that never would have made it past the censors back then.

Like your signature line too.

Camera Mount

Anyone know where I can get a good camera mount for the motorcycle. Working on a film project that involves shooting footage of NYC streets....riding up and down them.

Want to mount my video camera on to the handle bar.

Any leads ?

handlebar mount = nauseating footage.

mount to fixed point on bike, instead.

I used to mount my camera on the handlebars but with all the vibrations from the KLR the pic quality was bad. I went back to mounting it on my helmet using a strap that came with the video camera.. just something to consider if your bike vibes alot.

Good luck.

I have a ram handlebar mount but I do not recommend it. The main reason being that the vibration makes the video unusable. I've tried multiple cameras and one is worse than the next. Might be dampened by putting rubber around the bars but I have not tried that yet. I'm betting it won't help much

What about a pencil camera along side the front mud guard, wired to base back in the tank bag?

What type of bike do you want to mount it on? I have a couple of camera mounts I'm not using you can borrow\have. One mounts to the gas cap bolts.
