Nobody told me Jesse was training for Moto GP!! That boy can ride.

Thanks!

Thanks for a great tour of your backyard! That was a MUCH better way to spend the day than in an office.

Like all really good stolen days, I have no pictures. My only regret is that I didn't snap a shot of that awesome lasagna Steve made for lunch.

I didn't do that route this time, but I will prolly do it again soon! These good weather days where I don't have a thousand things to do at work never seem to come frequently enough.

Looks like I'll have the weekend free for riding around and goofing off.

Anyone got a good ride in the works? I wouldn't mind a 2 day'er with some camping either.

Shipping motorcycles

Does anyone have a recommendation for a motorcycle shipping company? I need to ship my bike to L.A. and apparently can't use my own trailer with any of the rental trucks.

Are you moving? I'll ride the bike over to LA for ya, just gimme a credit card for gas and food.

I say leave the couch on the curb and park your bike in the truck. If no room get the next size larger truck. The upgrade price would be less than shipping the bike and it's in your possession the whole time.

I thought about that, and I even found a large enough plywood where I can tie the bike down to it on the truck, but I don't know how to load the beast on the truck. They have this narrow and steep ramp, I'm not sure I want to try riding the bike on it. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

And yes, we are moving. I am done with the weather here...

Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this.

Is there a shop in the NYC area that has a large selection of Givi cases on display? I'm in the market for a top case and I'd really like to see the dimensions in person before I order one.

Thanks

I'm not sure if Uhaul will let you use your own trailer with their trucks, but they rent moto trailers that you can use with their trucks.

I don't think you'll find a shop in NYC that has any Givi cases on display.

A few of the participants here have top cases. I'm sure you can arrange some show and tell sessions if they speak up.

you can't beat Twisted Throttle, they're close in RI, and have tons and tons of GIVI and other makes. You ride up there and they'll install while you have a coffee, for free.

I've thought about riding up to Twisted Throttle, but would prefer to see some cases locally before I made the trek up there.
