Similar to what others mentioned, my experience with the ride to Montauk is that you'll find yourself in crazy gridlock/bumper to bumper traffic on any weekend, I can only imagine the holiday weekend traffic is incrementally worse. Expect the local pds to be "on edge" especially around "dem moorcycles."

It's not too late to schedule a helicopter service ;)

Fixed. ^^^

Went from Queens to Manhattan at 1030a and back at 1230p and traffic was already completely nuts both ways.

And yesterday I had a Secaucus cop come up behind me for no good reason at all (yes, really), lights and sirens, and as soon as I was almost to a stop he pulled cut the bubble gum and went around.

I can see it's gonna be a LONG weekend.
