Thanks Speedo! I'm looking forward to checking out those roads.

If you're on a DS and you see a dirt road, just take it.

Does anyone have a garmin ball thing for a handlebar that I can borrow for a week or two?

I have a Garmin I'll be lending to a friend so he can drive to texas with his speed tripple to see some woman

What I don't have is a way for him to attach it to his handlebar.

Anyone?

I've got a pair of balls I don't use.

LMK when ya need the stuff.

Tell your friend I met a great chick from Texas in SOHO, she was playing guitar and singing some country at a bar. No need to go all the way there for a southern gal, there are plenty round here.

Hey all,
I think my bike was towed this morning from NE corner of 22nd and Broadway. I'm on hold now with the tow pound. What do I do if I inspect the bike and find damages?

did you have your plate on it?

i would assume take pictures of it while in the impound lot. a video recording would also work. maybe something to confirm the date.

No plate was on when it was towed. Miraculously there was no damage at all.

Due to possible punctuation or how it was written. i can read that either way.

No plate was on it when it was towed.
No, plate was on when it was towed.

Sounds like you found it unharmed though.

I've got one designed to fit into the steering stem. See here. It'll fit a stem with 3/4" ID. Lemme know if you can use it ... I'm leaving town Friday.

Can't they just take the vin number off the frame (stem)? I don't know what bike he has but I would guess they read it off the frame.

Yeah, I brought my balls (minus the GPS mount) in this morning, let us know if you need them...

The tow pound paperwork had a partial VIN that they then matched to my registration card. I first had to get a hall pass to go to the bike to retrieve the plate from the top case. Then I handed them the plate and they finished their paperwork, charged me the tow fee and then the bike was released.

This all took me about 1 hour from start to finish.
