New Toy bought and plated in one day
I had to work in eagle friday, saturday and sunday to get today off just so I had enough time to get everything done.
Went to Colorado powersports this morning, got there at 8:30 asked them for the bike I wanted. Checked it over ,b.s.ed with the salesman for 20 minutes or so about it. Got the paperwork rollin and was out the door by 10am with this: ![]() ![]() I promptly took it home, unloaded it and drove to my insurance company. Insured it for the street. Sped to the dmv and got that ball rollin, which was promptly haulted by the words "This vin verification form is old, they needed to fill this one out" So off to the dealer again to get the right crap which has to be 25 to 30 miles away and got the right paperwork filled out. Back to the DMV and this time.........SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!...WOOHOO!!! Rushed back home and threw the brake light swith on, hand guards on, and my new plate on and Im good to go....Awsome feelin jumpin through hoops to come out triumphant. BTW I'll be posting this bike up for sale in the flea market forum soon, $3500 OBO: ![]()

Nice! I titled my first dirt bike last year and was surprised by how easy it was in Colorado.
What are you going to use for a horn? I was looking at small battery operated ones a while ago but couldn't find something local. Congrats! Brian

I have yet to figure out a kit. I wanted to make sure I could plate it first.

Did they have the bike sitting on the floor ready to run?
ie... Was the jetting richened, throttle stop shortened, grey wire to the CDI clipped, etc.... I only ask because the WR out of the crate is severly handicapped. It will barely run with an air cooled TTR250. After the above mentioned mods, the WR is a fantastic running bike. Congrats on the new bike.

Plated in one day...
At what point in the process did you produce proof of insurance?
You had an insurance card faxed to the dealer before you went to dmv?
