Loose gear lever

so the last week it has been a bit dogie going into 1st

this moring I pulled the tupaware off and checked out the gear lever

:
only too find that were it connects from the gear lever to the swivel pin had nearly unscrewed it self from the gear lever.
simple fix all you need is a 8mm open ended spanner tighted it backup and "bob's your aunties cousin lover" all fixed :):

I've heard of others coming loose, but the last time I checked, mine was okay.

Must have been the same guy who installed the fender bolts and taillight nuts :mad:

i think his name was Hans. He has a torque wrench, but it took him 14 weeks to realize how it really worked.
