Footpeg lowering mounts for KLR 650

I made some mounts to lower and move rearward the footpegs on my KLR. It worked real good for me. I'm 6'5" with 13 boot and these made standing and shifting way more comfortable. I posted a story on them and some guys have asked for a set. You can see the story in thumpers. I'm tryin to see if there is enough interest to start making them for sale. I', thinking $50 a set would be fair. These are pics of the first ones I made for myself. I would try to smooth them out a little nicer if they were going to be for sale. You should be able to see the difference from the pics. I didn't take good measurments before and after but I'll do that. PM me If you're interested. Thanks...Rick PS they will have a little triangular gusset in the corner for ridgidity even though they are real solid now

Hey Rick, being tall, have you lowered the pegs on your 1200? I'm 6'3"and did the lower position Fastways, and am going to raise the bars, but for around $50-$100, brackets like that would be a great addition for the GS as well as the KLR. Nice job!

I have the fastways too on the GS. I havent thought about brackets fot that bike but you never know. For now I'll get these done. I have alot more room on the GS than the KLR had so not that big an issue. By the way, the ones I make for sale will be nicer than the ones in the pics. Those were the first ones and I wasn't concerned with the looks of them

Rick, do you have a set left for me?

Hi Rick,

I am 6'5 and have the same problem. Let me know if you can sell me a set.
Dos anyone have experience with rising the front-end. I have raised the back-end about 1 inch with the special suspension link. Are progressive springs the way to go here? Or will they just prevent the front-end from diving once they are halfway compressed?

Thanks Sascha

if they're $50 for the billet, that's a steal, and the way to go...
