LC4 manual on CD
Any of you LC4ers have or know where to get the repair manual on CD. I see them come up on eBay occasionally but I haven’t lately. Or if you have one and want to rip me a copy that’d be great too. The plan is to try and convert the info to a ipod usable format and load the whole thing into my iPod. I think I can do it. If someone donates the source I’ll share the reformat if it works.

Is this the best repair manual for an 07 Adv? Odd that it only lists through 2005.
http://www.repairmanual.com/motorcyc.../0/18836/13826 Does it cover anything beyond the engine, ie Adv frame/suspension/etc parts? I'm putting together my "kit" for a 6-month trip and I need as much (digital) documentation as possible. Thanks, Jeff |

Question for anyone out there with the "official" LC4 engine repair manual. I just received mine. It's somewhat loosely bound in a Kinkos looking black ring binder, and it looks like it's been photo copied. The cover is in color but all the photos inside are pretty low resolution and aren't that clear (nothing is glossy). Is this what the factory book looks like, or have I just been sold a photocopy?
Thanks. |

Won't send any business their way. Bastages. I was tempted to rat them out to "The Authorities", but that feeling passed. Plus, I didn't know who to bitch to.

Or...
Or pull the brown low octane wire/connection under the seat...
![]() [quote=dirtydeeds]You need nothing but a few bucks for gas and food, dood. The ol' girl will hold up just fine so long as you use octane boost EVERYWHERE south of the US.

I've been running low octane gas here in Colombia and Ecuador. The higher the altitude, the better it runs (up to about 10k feet). Below 5K I get pre-ignition under hard acceleration at lower rpms. I was trying to figure out how to retard the ignition and cursing the CDI.
