Going back a bit on this thread

Um-m-m-m, gentlemen, if you're through, I'd like to respond to GS Steve's previous question.

Note from Baldy: Gyro was responding to some forum rage I split off to the penalty box and titled "Getting too cold."

The "beloved" RS is "Red Shift" my ol' 94 R1100RS.
I've put over 60,000 on it.

I may have washed it once, too.

Gyro, nice bike, nice rider:): Looks like you have some great riding area, looking at the background of Crash's pic post, wished I had turned north at Stanley instead of south to Sun Valley,(Dull) could have went looking for a red RS

It was a fab ride north. Took the Magruder Corridor, 123 miles of dirt between Darby, MT and Elk City, ID. We rode through this because we were so tired of beautiful scenery.

Say, Arbey . . . .

Do you need a replacement for the helmet you were wearing when you went down in the snow the other day?

I can't fit into any of mine anymore, what with my swelled head. :hat

:): Ms. Gyro:):

Montana is a better place because of you. Ever ride near/around the "BOB"? Hunted Elk there in '92 on horseback...your avatar made me think of the hunt.

Gee, thanks. :):

Yes. I've had the privilege to enjoy the Bob Marshall wilderness quite a bit.
Never hunted, but sure enjoyed hiking and fishing.
