Fwiw, when I asked KTM's East Region rep at the Delaware supermoto demo day, he was pretty confident that the US would be getting them in July.

Hey, this post was supposed to draw out information from around the world, not just from my riding buddies. Don't worry, Walter and Chris, I'll let you fellows have a ride!

Hasn't anyone seen one in Australia? Austria? Germany?

later, barry

I should be picking mine up mid to end May. Then again, there is no fixed delivery date for France yet. One thing I do know: that is one SEXY beast!! And I am way excited to be getting mine!!!

They were tested in Lesotho (mountain kingdom) in South Africa, awesome awesome. GPS tested at 200km/h which is insane - considering Lesothos roads.

Last Sunday we had 'Orange Day' here in the Netherlands. There was a preproduction SE. Yep, it's a beaut. The people from KTM NL told us that production starts at the end of may, early june.

Sightings

About the only real sightings to have taken place has been in South Africa and Lesotho. I posted some really cool pics of Sala testing the bike here:

Not here in Australia yet, the dealers are saying they expect the 990 Adv, 950SM & the SE to arrive in May, but from what KTMax has just said above, maybe their dreaming.

Latest estimates for availability in the US is September 2006 as an "early 2007 model". Still no confirmation on price in the US. Also sounds like another very limited production run...so get your name on a list now if you want a shot at one.
