Fabulous report.
This is the photo I was going back to find to post in this reply. fantastic photos too & this is my favourite.
Was really interested to see the luggage arrangements used by heavy-duty hard-core African riders.

as all time favorite....fantastic. Cannot believe the fantastically stupid skid plate mounting of the GS...I'll keep that in mind.

Question: No worries about scorpions or puff adders when sleeping out on a flat tarp?

P.S. May actually be in Namibia this July...who wants to swap use of a bike in Florida for use of a bike in Windhoek?
