It's my pension. Every trip is another deposit in my memory pension. I'm gonna have a wonderful old age.
MJ - mind if I steal this? I need these words to justify my choices to others that just don't get it.

This might help.

Hey MetalJockey..
I reckon you and mr. Kimangao need to team up for a ride and post the report.. Its impossible to decide whose pics or reports are better,, however the stage most certainly ought to be Africa.
Its also great to read your insights and thoughts on how your friendships were cemented in the process of the trip, as well as your comments on tolerance. Racists, my hairy ass...!!!
Its good to be a South African.. make us proud!

Outstanding report. That quote had me laughing from page 1.

I was refered here to look at your extra fuel carriage methods. I spent the next couple of hours reading every word and looking at every photo! My wife was annoyed because I kept calling her over with "You've got to see this picture..."

I'm on dial up so each page had to be refreshed at least twice but I got to see all the photo's!

Love your work...

I'm off to read your other reports.

In Australia we call "windpomps" windmills, not that it matters what either of us call it because the great pics showed us what it was anyway.
