ADV Riders in Hillsboro WI 4-29?

Me and the Governor were heading to the Beemer dealer for some demo rides and while cruising through Hillsboro we spotted a few adventure bikes in front of a restraunt. Of course I had to stop and check them out and noticed advrider stickers on two of them. There were two GS's and a DL1000.

Which of you yahoos was it?

Thats exactly what I was thinking! One dude even had a hatchet strapped to his bike. Probably a bunch of deranged Wisconsin serial killers.

Those dudes were pretty well loaded down, musta been out for a little camping trip...I was jealous!

It was Ed G. reincarnated. They were probably trying to find a good tannery, for the skins they had.

Did you ride by Hillsboro International? I flew in there a few times and hiked up town, to get something to eat. Nice clean little town.

That would be Beaver on the black GS, GSing WI on the white, and Bad Chad on the Weeestrom

That was just after we left Wildcat S.P. Stopped for some eats, then off to Pecatonica.

Those were three awesome bikes! I hope I didn't get too much slobber on them.

I was quite suprised to drive through that town and see some decked out adventure bikes. Kinda makes ya think..who the hell are these people, what are they doing, where are they going, why the hell am I driving a truck?
then I remembered that my poor rear wheel was sitting in the back of the truck, hoping to get some new spokes.
We still got to ride though.
I took this for a spin:

and the Gov took this little number out:

then I had to see what was up with the ol' Buell

That Buell made me kinda giggle in my helmet. I think it might have a few more HP than I'm used to.

Next time your in Hillsboro you should check this place out...

I've never seen the Ho that makes it, but it sounds interesting! I would have to say I'd probably pass on the Bologna.

Most of it stayed there, were not sure if the cops noticed the half full bottle of Rumplemintz on the back of the Irish's bike.

Talking Hope I didn't wake anyone.

Just thought I'd say sorry to anyone that sleept in the No.7 sheep barn at Pecatonica. Hodag needed emergency calories after the bars closed. The only way into that can of corn beef hash was with the hatchet that was strapped to the bike.
