I guess the bicycle is to ride home when the rear tire on that KTM wears through?
NOPE the bicycle is what you will call a "asault vehicle".

about the motorbike tyre,I use to get old(use) tyres from other people,do to my low income status, A lot of work in the quest to stract a few more milles out of a already dead carcase.

hey,,,that can i say, I like to ride and a worn out tyre is not going to stop me,as long it have air inside,is good enogh for me.

Hey Ktim

Cool bike, two quick questions:

What mounts are you using for your road book/gps above the speedo and with your Scotts damper, did you use a weld on bracket or a bolt on one?

Thanks

KTim,

Very Nice!! :):

Spent an hour last night trying to figure a way to mount my Scott's under the bar, as I plan to use some tall risers, I'm getting close, but it looks like it will require machining the upper triple clamp. Love to see your mods.

Cheers, Mack

Hi Mack,

I'll be interested to see your damper fitting when it's done.

Rad - Weld on bracket used for the damper, Scotts do a bolt on but it's pretty complicated to fit as it involves cutting and taking off the top clamp. I have a pdf file of the instructions if you need them.

The IMO and GPS are mounted using a RAM mount onto the Touratech bracket for the IMO, the Touratech GPS bracket is then mounted alongside. I'll take a pic. if you need one.

Cheers guys

What did you attach the RAM mount to on the bike? Could you take a pic withought the equipment?

Ram Mount

Ram mount is attched to the sub frame that supports the headlamps, using a "U" bolt and spacers so that it comes through a hole in the instrument cover.
