Nice. How do you like those TKC80s?
I just rode the worst 24 miles I've ever ridden yesterday and the stock Scorpions almost dumped me twice. Scorpions just can't handle sand and and mud so I'm looking for something that's better off road.

for me TKC is the best 50/50 tire, this one is special b/c it's my first 150/70, the one on the bike is a 140/80.

Tkc 150
Got my new "shoes" ie TKC 150 about 500km now and they are great on tarmac and comfortable on dirt roads and paths. I am not sure on the compound but they seem harder. Looking forward to about 2500 - 3000 km on them.

I also took receipt of the new TKC 150 rear (and usual front) from SWMototires.com; my first set for the new bike, cant wait to get them mounted! I probably shouldn't say that I ordered them on Friday morning and they arrived next day.

The trail off-shoots were a lot of fun as well, I'll give a hollar next time I come up maybe you can show me some trails. Mark, you wore down that D908 pretty quick, you think that TKC will hold up as long? |

Ordered mine on Sunday night and they got here today (Thursday) at noon. When I dropped them off to get balanced, the guys in the shop wanted to know where I got the 150 as they were told that they are on back order "until sometime in July."

They're Here!
Fed Ex just brought a big brown box. That 150 looks way wider than the 140 on now. Guess I need to go burn the rest of it off, trouble is weather man says rain for next week!

You running the TKC up front too? I had the D606 front and back. I got 250 miles street and 250 miles of dirt riding out of the back tire and it's toast. The front tire HOWLS on the pavement. Drowns out my I-pod such that I have to take it out and put in ear plugs! So far, pretty disappointed with the 606 that I am replacing after one week of riding!
