Planning that trip, again

I forgot who asked ref the high guard, Yes a Dalby Moto kit, came as part of the Adventure kit they have, springs exhaust and carb.
Ref the tape, I have been doing it since i got a new YZ125G in late 1979. Keeps the plastics new, do it my daughters bikes as well. Mick

I'm pretty sure I got 9 litres into it and that I could have put more in had I held the bike vertical rather then leant over on the stand.
I bought it last year and can't recall exactly how much I paid but think it was around $180. You can check the below site. The picture they have is of the tank mounted on a 640. I mounted mine a little differently. http://www.nomadtanks.com.au/Tanks.php

That sounds like a great trip - care to post a short story (& some pics) of your adventures. The Flinders Ranges and The Gammons are some of my favourite areas to visit.

Looking for advice on a side stand for a 06 adventure. I know you can get the sw mototech from the states, but I reckon its a bit exy at $200. Are there any other options? Cheers saab |

With the KTM sidestand you can't run the centre stand at the same time. Have a look in the 'sticky' at the top of the THUMPERS page. There is a mine of information there - search and you will find.
