Hi Jaume,

Don't think about me too much. I'm keen on the company and quite happy to sit out this 'dance' trail-wise :)

Seriously, I think my shoulder is going to be a long time in the mending as I have previous problems which will make recovery more complicated.

Ok, as you like, but I need your help for the track.

Let's see what the others think

Good luck mate

Hi Jaume et al,

Don't worry, all of the trails are 'camis' and are marked clearly on the ICC 1:50,000 'comarca' topographical maps.

If you guys buy these maps (€7) I can help folks mark the trails on them and folks can make notes from my knowledge, e.g. about finding the right trail once you're in the village etc..

I also have spare printed guides with all the satnav coords, waypoints, etc. that work stand alone. I'm selling these as they cost a lot to print but I don't want to suggest that this is compulsory, or even necessary.

Meanwhile, mainly for Jaume, the trails are in: the Monseny (which I'm sure you know!), Vall Fosca, Serra de Boumort, La Terreta (west of Tremp over to the Noguera Ribagorçana) and the Vall de Barcedana and Serra de Montsec.

I think that now we've set the date for the first weekend in September we might as well stick to that as some guys and gals will already have pencilled it in - but having said that I've just heard from a UK bloke who wants to come here from September 9th (in order to give me some free specialist physio so I guess I owe him), so maybe we should change to the second weekend.

Can I set a deadline for this time tomorrow and then I'll make a separate post for the meet.

Cheers

Simon

Hi all,

Sorry I'm a little out these days due to business travelling. It is fine for me if we delay the adv meeting, no problem.
If fact it was only 4 people joining the meeting if I remember it right and one now is missing, so...

More opinions?
Regards
Santi

PS: Neil, is that your bike? It's a beauty!!!

OK, heres´s the other side with the mujer trying out reverse.....

How´s the recovery going Simon ? and what´s the moto like ?

I slung my GS into a crash barrier in the last rains in May. I was OK, but sorting the bike out was expensive.

Nice Neil, nice!

The moto is OK, I haven't looked at it yet but I think all I need is a new gear change rubber - that was where my ankle used to be!

Cheers

Guys, can someone give me some info about motorcycle forums in Spain and also names of motorcycle magazines and motorcycle stores (chains and large online stores)?

I want to market my product outside the US.

Links would be much appreciated.

I'm looking for the same in other countries.

Thanks

George

Not a problem :)

Also, I need people that want to resell my Helmet Hook in Spain and other countries.

By the way, I used to live in Torremolinos close to Malaga :)

Hi Guys,

I've heard from PHILinFRANCE that his trip to Morocco is too close to either weekend for his to come down. So that only leaves Jaume and Santi and me - should be out of the plaster cast by then but I still have no idea how my shoulder is going to be - I have a UK friend who is still out of action five months after a dislocation!

So I think we'd better leave it for now.

One possibility; although this is something completely different my HISS rally in the mountains around Teruel is definitely on for the first week in October, i.e. starts Monday September 30th. I know this is something entirely different to what we've been talking about but it might suit - it certainly will be a lot of fun :)

Hi all,

To be fair, it was Sportakus that proposed an ADV meeting, So I'd like to know his opinion.

Even assuming I'm OK by October that month is looking very busy for me, between the HISS and meeting my friends at Club Maxitrail!

So I don't think my vote counts for much :8
