Hot Springs: 100 Miles to Nowhere
Saturday morning after NCbub's DeathRide departed and a couple of other groups headed out, Wayne Weber and I are left hanging out.
DataDaddy: "Hey Wayne, Let's go riding!" Wayne Weber: "Great idea, Let's go!" ![]() SupperMoTodd jumps onto the train as we leave town and we're off... Here is my GPS track. ![]() Track_100MilestoNowhere.gdb We left camp planning to run the fun parts of 212 and then see from there. Wayne and Todd are way faster than me, so I chased them through this section. Todd needed some gas, so while he got gas I checked my GPS for fun roads... I found some roads that looked good, real good Wayne said "We'll follow you "Off we headed, working south on the small, squiggly roads. We found some very cool roads with a good mix of dirt and pavement. Very little traffic ![]() Since I was leading two folks way faster than me and navigating, I only have a couple of pictures. Wayne and Todd took more than I did. I was just trying not to slow them up too much. You guys throw some pics in here. The crew (two 950's and my KLR )![]() We were at the corner of... ![]() Later in the afternoon, we stopped at a spot with a nice view. You can see a little of the road we came up in the right side of the pic. ![]() I hope that Wayne and Todd will add some comments and pics here. They took more pictures than I did.

This was one of the best rides I have been on in a long time. No trafic lots of twisties mixed with off road mountain passes! I look forward to riding with you guys again sometime. I will post some pics here soon.
