Price check isle orange...2003 sxc625

Hey guys,

I'm looking at a very clean, obviously never ridden, 2003 KTM sxc625 with under 250 miles. What price would you consider to be fair? I know the bike will need a full service, I.e., fluids, tires, etc but I having a hard time coming up with a price that I should offer. Btw....dealer is asking 5k.

Thanks in advance,
Matt

For the identical bike, fully serviced? Or your bike that you are considering?

Either way, it's about 2-3k too much.

This is a bike that I'm looking at buying. I'm thinking 3500 would be a good deal for sure.

Although not a klr it far from a from maintenance... It's acutely pretty reliable bike with parts readily available; both oem and aftermarket.

I just bought a 2004 625 SXC with 3,100 miles. The bike has some nice modes like a 5 gl tank, Scotts steering stabilizer, GPS wiring, new comfort seat, Big Gun Exhaust, center stand and heavy duty kick stand, Tank bag, rear rack and bag. It was extremely well maintained with all service records available. I paid $4k which was maybe a little on the high side, but the bike is show room clean.

Hope that gives you some perspective. Good luck.

Considering a dealer has a lot more overhead than a private party I don't think the price is outrageous. A lot will depend on the local market and the dealer itself. If it's a big dealer with a lot of bills, then the price is probably about fair. If it's a smaller dealer with lower costs, then you should be able to get the price down.

Let us know what you decide.

Seems fair to me as the storage fees for keeping a new one around would be high I like the 625 think its an excellent bike and wouldn't hesitate picking a no mile model up for $5K worth more than that IMO.

I paid under 4 for my 03 SXC with 2 sets of wheels and a Rekluse clutch. I would think 3500 would be a fair price if the miles are that low. BTW, I don't notice any vibrations out of mine. I do notice how freaking nice it is though. AWESOME BIKES.
