I'm not 100% satisfied with them, but they work for what I need until I either find better ones or drop money on something I'll like. The only thing I don't like is the peg doesn't sit level or at least it feels like my feet want to rest at a different angle. But I bought my bike missing one when it fell over in a wind storm (previous owner) and they work good enough for $15
I believe I read on triumph rat someone used those and drilled a hole and put a bolt in to make them seat correctly.

Your bike is looking good. Love that seat! Who did that for you?
Cheers Mak

I just got a local classic car upholsterer to re cover in brown, (with green piping). I took the cross belt off to see what it looked like and left it that way.

Also a khaki green union jack stitched on the back.

They sit flat , side to side. It's the front edge sits a little higher than the back edge, leaving my ankle at an uncomfortable angle? I got drunk last night and someone had to drive me home, so my bike is in a friends garage, I'll grab some pictures later today when I get 'er back.

Got my scrambler back from paint and more

Ok,so for the past weeks I had my Scrambler at BA MOTO to get my scrambler done. Paint, ceramic coated exhaust, Racetech front and rear suspension and a few bits and pieces powder coated. Also a new set of TKC 80s. Here is what she looked like before:

And here she is now:

Forgot to mention, also a new set of tank badges, finally got a set of those on my bike.
Last thing I have left is cams and FCR 39s and she is complete. My Thruxton is already done.

I'm so happy with the way she turned out, thank you my friends from BA Moto!!!

Speedking is correct. It's a Zard cross pipe. There's nothing not to like about these pipes except the cost maybe. I was really torn between this set up and the MAS engineering high pipes though. Both are outstanding looking, The Zard may be more performance and weight reduction oriented, but sounds less like a Brit twin than two into two.

My original covers were just not good looking anymore when I bought the scrambler, so I just bought a set of black ones.

The badges.......I got lucky, my friends from BA MOTO bought a crash bike and I got the badges. I know they are crazy hard to score.

They're like the holy grail of triumph badges. I met a few of the BA moto guys at a local club party (Cretins MC), good bunch of guys.
And let's not forget sexy Boris.....

Do I need metal or rubber stems? Center mount?
You don't need stems with tubes, they're already attached to the tube.
