Can't find a pic with a right side bag (hard or soft) on one of these puppies? Is that even possible with that exhaust?

Yes it is possible, have seen pic's of hard bags here. Search should produce some pix.

I wouldn't think that Triumph altered much when they fitted the cast wheels. It's not the way they work. So my guess is that the swap would work OK.

I seemed to have lost my subscription to this thread so sorry for the late reply.

I have not heard anything back from Talon yet but the thread on triumphrat (http://www.triumphrat.net/twins-tech...alon-hubs.html) did show a laced wheel with a talon hub (straight pull spokes) and I am surprised that if they got this far with a prototype that they do not list it on their web site??

I have been meaning to make a left side bracket to incorporate a single soft bag, that will add extra storage down low, and leave the bike narrow. I made it out of 5/8" tube and copied the Ventura mount system, but added an extra 25mm to the post and rear bracket to keep the bag off the shock, and not swinging in towards the wheel.
I will not be chroming it, probably just a spray can job, as it will only be required occassionaly.

I really like this mod. May go talk to a local metal shop. perhaps have the bar on top of that rear bracket bit.
