Remus Sportauspuff

Just installed the Remus Genesis alum. can on the 1150 GS.
All I can say is Yeah Baby.
Last week I installed the cat eliminator pipe ( Thanks JL!)
I found the front wheel lifting off the ground for most of second gear. Liked that.

Decided to go for it and get the matching can and man I am glad I did! Think I saved 15 or so lbs.
Imagine my delight when last night I was able to lift the front wheel in third!!
With a final drive swap and that BB power chip I think I will be ready for summer's activities.

If you don't mind me asking, what did the two cost and how difficult to change over?

Paid $170 for the collector used, and $400 for the can. (Aluminum)

In answer to your second question: on an R1150GS it was real easy. Everything lined up perfectly. You may need to use liquid wrench or similar product to pull the cat off the header pipes. Looseng the header bolts may help to make everything fall apart as well.

One more thing, don't bother trying to remove the sensor plug from the cat until the cat is lying on the floor of your garage.
