Nice looking piece of hardware and good luck with the water pump seal.

fcuk mate - that is seriously gorgeous. My mouth actually hung open when I saw it, so the smiley is appropriate. WOW. If I ever get a rekluse, I will get one of them. Once again.... fcuk!

Thanks guys,

Here of some pics of me "testing" my current setup. I had just put on a set of ROX risers. I'm sure not the fastest, but I do have fun doing it. That's all that matters. If you don't enjoy it, why waist the time?

This race was about 5 hrs from home. I rode there.

I think they need a bigger tent?

http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...ace2007008.jpg

Our pit spot. Ride to the race, take off luggage, Race, than ride home.

http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...ace2007017.jpg

Zigman and I w/ our trophies. Great Race Dan. Glad you talked me into it.

http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...ace2007015.jpg

I did take off the luggage and highway pegs first.

http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...ace2007018.jpg

Thanks Wayne for all the help w/ this bike, ordering up parts and throwing back and forth ideas. You've got a great shop and crew. http://www.petriemotorsports.com/

http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...ace2007019.jpg

Long live the 950. When the guy handing out trophies asked what possessed me to race a 950 in 9 miles of single track. I gave him a blank stare and told him "They said it was 'Ready to Race' when I bought it".

They must have thought I screwed up when I put my CC size down. They left it blank.

http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...ace2007009.jpg

And yes that is only a 10mph average. Thank you very much. :)

Way too much fun.

Thanks Chad, long time no see. You riding anymore? Any trips planned.

Local News!

Petries is having an Open House April 19. Anyone looking to swing a leg over a Demo 990, stop on by for some food and bikes. Maybe I'll see a few of you there. I've never ridden a 990 ADV yet, plus the 990 Super Duke maybe available.

Lets hope the weather keeps warming up.

Lot of new goodies to start out the new year. I've never seen a new "S" up close. They are the same height as last years S.

CJ, I just read this entire thread....holy smokes, you've done it all with one bike. I'm starting to re-think my approach to bikes...and its your fault man...do I really need a Duke, a 530 and a big touring bike??
Maybe a 950/990 is my cure for my illness...and you proved that you can race it too!!!
See ya at Waynes on Saturday.
