Greetings !
Clondalkin here - the Las Vegas equivalent area of Dublin. Used to ride with "Loonies" for a while, but then Animal (El Presidente) decided to headbutt a courier van. Twas the end of the "Loonies".
Crashed my VFR Vtec on Long Mile rd - some diesel - write-off. Got myself 05 1200GS. Found an old quarry in Glenmalure. That's where I live now. Missus not happy, but what can u do. !!
Anyone here know good trails (not too good - GS's bit on a heavy side - dropped it plenty) let me know.
If you see 1200GS rider in cut-off denim with big red Hammer&Sickle on the back (I'm from the Redland originally), that would be me.
Treat me well.
See ya !

Talking Irish sights to see

Hello all, don't mean to hijack the thread but i'll be flying to Dublin in September and spending about 5 days in your beautiful country. I have no firm plans on what to see yet and could use some recommendations.

I tried to convince the wife to let me rent a bike to do some riding but she didn't go for that. Guess I'll have to ride to France and take a ferry over another time.

We are particularly interested in the western portion of Ireland but, as stated earlier, have not locked any plans in yet other than the flight over and back. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi guys,
I'm from Wicklow, and I've been trail-riding the Dublin/Wicklow mountains since 1975 (not so easy these days).

I like the old 2-Stroke twin-shockers, and I'm currently restoring a 1972 Suzuki TS-250 Savage, which I'm hoping to have trail-ready by mid July .
