Snowrider to Mexico
I'll come back to this thread and post stuff if/when I get a chance.
I'm packing right now, and I leave for Mexico in the morning. Morning for me being around noon or so. I don't know why I'm going to Mexico now, I had all winter to enjoy it properly. My spanish is terrible. I just got a map of Mexico a couple days ago. I have no idea what I'm doing. I know I'm crossing the border at El Paso, and I will spend 4 days in Juarez helping a group of volunteers build a house. Then, south, probably to the bottom, I guess. A little further in than last year (http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83480) anyway. Oh yeah and I'm a lot poorer now so there'll be a lot more camping and peanut butter. Later. |

The only report I've ever read of yours was your trip to Alaska (the first thread I ever read here, btw.) After I read that report I bought my DR650. Can't wait to read this one.

Looking forwad to new pics of you playing your guitar with the cool custom amp in Mexico. You'll have to really pull the stops out to beat your awesome AK trip report.

I can't wait... the Alaska trip report you did was the best read of a trip ever (in my humble opinion)
Stay safe and may God bless and keep you on your trip..... |

Huzzah!
Snowrider
Good luck on your latest adventure. I stumbled across your first report (and this site) awhile ago and I've been here ever since, lurking. Your report convinced me of two things, I'll get a DR and I'll ride to AK. Thanks and enjoy the Negro Modelo. B |

Yeah!
You wake up one day and decide to go to Mexico. What better way to start a trip? Awesome. Can't wait for the reports and pics. That line in your AK report about watching out for BMWs while bear splitting sticks in my head to this day. Safe and interesting travels, Snow.

Mexico
Hello,
I'll be riding south in a week. Going all the way to Belize. Drop me a line and maybe we could ride some of it together. Cheers, Alberto |
