Wicked Radium B.C. last weekend.

Long time lurker posts ride photos here.....http://picasaweb.google.com/aircraft.../RadiumMay2008
This is west of Radium B.C. Canada. We rode about 250kms of these roads in the 2 days we were there. I think this might be my first or second post?

Forest roads west of Radium B.C. Canada.
We left Calgary Saturday morning rode 255 kms in the rain to Radium B.C. then did 150kms of these fantastic roads and trails.

The rain was very light buy this time but a bit muddy in places.

The sign indicates a twisty logging road? no way! eh?

This is about half way between Duncan lake and Radium, dirty snow.

This is the view my buddy had after he hit the front brake on the wet wood bridge. Thats about 40 feet down. Its a good thing the small guard was there.

Some mud in the low lands with tracks of the rare spotted Canadian Sasquatch and bear.

Unlimited roads like this in this area.

My 2006 DR650 with the home made alum. bags and stainless racks, GPS,Vapour tach etc.

My buddy with his DL1000 loaded for bear.......which there was some.(this is grizzly country but we saw only 3 black bears)

The picture is bad but the bear is on the left side, he was afraid of the bike noise.

So we rode 255kms Calgary to Radium, then 150 kms of these back roads, camped over night Saturday. Sunday we packed up and rode another 100 kms of these back roads then 255kms back to Calgary in the rain. What a way to spend a weekend. Now back to work.....

I'd love to ride around in those mountains. Very beautiful country.
