Dammit. Quit talking about the Fit. I don't need no distractions here.

Shit. I gotta go find one tomorrow.

We just cleaned up the Saturn for trading.

This is not good. Not good at all.

It would seem you need to attend Thursday night bike night at the Vortex with the ATL crew and go to the auto show. It ends on May 7th.

Sounds like a great idea, actually.

I think I've spend $232.86 on gas this week alone just cruising the car lots. One stop shopping would be nice.

We're looking for an uber-econobox but I've been looking for toys, too--saw the Pontiac Solstice and loved it. the Saturn Sky version of the same car was gaudy with the chrome all over it, IMHO.

It is a good show. They have a lot of smaller cars to look at.

Fit Sport, $1K down, 60 months = $383/mo.

Your raping may vary.

(A Honda with a markup?)

$383 a month for 60 months? comes out to $22980 and then a $1000 down?
sounds like it costs more than 14-16 K to me.

I just traded the Mini for a Camry. The Mini held its value well enough that the Camry went on the mileage credit card.

One thing I found about the Mini and I assume it may hold true for all small cars: at least in AZ, you get NO respect. People rarely hestitate about pulling in front of you. That, the harsh ride and the noise in the Mini meant I could no longer stand driving it.

Plus it burned premium gas. We've got over 400 miles on the Camry - may have to put gas in it this week.

Good luck Photog! We shopped for about 90 minutes last Saturday and I did the deal after the Sun's game last Sunday. We pretty much knew what we wanted so it was a matter of narrowing it between two cars.

The Fit Sport is $15720 MSRP with destination... the 5 speed...

with $1000 down at 8% over 60 months your payment SHOULD be $320/mo. total payments over 60 months equal $19250.00...

sounds like some dealer is trying to charge $3k over MSRP...

How long do you have to drive it to have the fuel economy make up for that kind of gouge?
