OK, I've been following this thread silently for long enough...

Pyndon - you are my hero, and I truly wish I had your motivation and know-how!

Thumb Imitation

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I intend to set my bike up almost exactly like yours. Thanks for the great thread Pyn!

I thought I did read it but I still couldn't find the answer. In fact somebody else asked about the wheels too. But whatever...

No biggie. I asked because I have the conventional roadbook holder set-up. Thanks any way.

Brief hijack: the rear got welded, and held up great. The front then cracked and I had that welded too. Both held up great

Then a guy jumped a red light and rode into me. Too much was bent on the bike so they wrote it off. They also wrote off the small pickup who wacked into me, wrenched his engine mounting bolts out and bent the chassis I understand.

So no bike now for me for a bit.

I remember reading about it. I hope you get back on two wheels soon.

Pyndon,
I said it before and I will say it again. YOU ROCK! I just rode 500 miles this weekend and was thinking of your last weekend ride. I will someday be a man and ride like you.

Pyndon,
Have enjoyed and learned a lot from all your hard work. I crashed my 04/950 (lady making a left turn). The frame is broken in two places and might need new forks.Don;t know if I will buy the bike back, but if I do, is there any venders for WP suspention or any other brand that might work.
Thanks
