Forks........

Still in planning . I have not got new springs yet.

I am using stock springs with extra pre-load spacers. Not how I would like it but I made the best of a bad job really. They are lots better as a result of a full overhall but they do bottom out and do need to be a little stiffer to improve the front end feel however, I am not one to moan. I just haul it around and have fun, ride the wheels off it.........

Well Then I'll let you know how go on mine , went riding with a guy whom has 300mm travel , we were twisting it on hard untill i came unstuck , i was bottoming every where I have pre load maxed , compression 5 out from full , Rebound 13 out from full , I'm now in the process of getting some 525 forks and revalving and 6kg springs and swaping the axel clamps.

The guy with 300mm travel was doing it easy just the odd bottom out

That is just what I want, 300/320 travel and stiffer springs. Who is the guy, where did he get it done or what did he do? Come on....share with the Pyndon.....Pyndon wants!

Hey Blue,

Yes I have a wee 250F for throwing around on the MX track from time to time. Mainly to keep fit, I hate working out in the gym, I just like to ride....lots!

Where you from in the UK? Maybe we could go ride sometime when I'm over there?

Here she is.............

I like ripping it up.............

And ripping it apart ..............

Regards,

Pyn

Pyn mate, Rachel is clearcoatedly not yer average bling. Well done. But Pyn, you could have at least cleaned the beast before you made her get up there and pose. Still, Rach seems like she sees the funny side of it all so that makes her a great gal. What does SHE think about the orange rim trims? IMHO if she says she likes em then your choices narrow considerably and we will still have to look at them. I'm conflicted but there it is. As I know Rachel sometimes looks at these threads perhaps she can help out with a measured response on this issue. Rachel, please help us persuade Pyn to lose those gangsta rim trims.
That is all.

Piston, rings and pin every 15 hrs without fail (6-8 weeks!). Also, valve seat check, valve clearance check and big end check whilst I'm in there. Maintenance is the key with these babies, look after them and they'll look after you (same goes for Rachel!) .

Just get some 525, 450 Forks and swap over in turnals , But don't get the one's ihave just bid on , Springs are from kroozetune ,

Unit 3, 3 Sherwood Court
Wantirna South VIC 3152
Ph: (03)9801 2122 Fax: (03)9801 9122
Melbourne Australia , Note fork springs are different lenghts 950 ,525 . You will have to order springs to suit the 525 forks. as you will be running the longer lenght .

easy
then sell the other forks as motard forks So it should only cost a set of spring unless you make a profit on the motrad forks . then you'll be in front

Well I'm off to the World rally chams In perth aust, .

Ps have you tried a 7.5 oil and razing the oil hieght 5mm to 10mm ( i haven't yet but thats the first thing i have plain when i get back and it's the cheapest )
