Absolute Quality I haven't laughed that much for ages! I bet the sports bike riders faces were a picture under their helmets!

Those pics look like you're somewhere in Yorkshire Pyn? Am I right??

Because 19"/17" is the best all round size for an Adventure bike and the tyres available. Also, the 17" front makes the bike a little too twitchy/responsive.

AND......why bother when you can just ride this when you want sport

Then I got sick of getting passed on the straights so I switched bikes for the second session

Two bikes *and* two sets of leathers to the same track day? I smell a van
I'm dead jealous, I grew up not 10 miles from Oulton, still my favourite track

My 19/17 Woodys should be here soon though, I'll be trying the same thing at Brands.
Not as well though I've seen the pics of you backing the big girl in

Props to you an all for what seems like a real good pace- but it wasn't all passing on the straights in the first video. Shows that an adventure bike is just cannon fodder when going against well ridden sportbikes (as well it should be, despite what the dreamers think). Sure is more entertaining though.

Absolutely more entertaining, and a well ridden adventure bike is faster than 85% of the average joe's riding spports bikes on a track day or on the road.

All in good fun

Pyndon, I owe you a pint or three someday for the amount of information you provided in this thread. The next time you're in Wisconsin...
