Pyn, I like your cool mod with the K&N. I was wondering from your pix, the pre-filter and pre-pre-filter skin seem to be tucked pretty tight into the top glovebox zone. Do you put the glovebox lid back on, and if so wouldn't that be pretty air-restrictive in that area? Maybe I'm not seeing the whole picture.

Considering air can access that void through the frame rails at the front, from under the tanks through the gaps around the airbox, from the gaps in the lid/cover, from beneith the seat etc, I don't think this is going to be an issue.

Remember what i said in the words about cutting the base of the glove compartment out enough to prevent 'shrouding'......well that's why I said it. I did consider this.

because I'm at home sat on my arse all day at the moment I read this thread from begining to end again (miles better than the shite on daytime TV).

Anyway my question is 'do you still have your GSXR' ?
