I moved... No longer in Basalt, Colorado.
I still have a spare bedroom to offer as well as a huge garage full of tools and/or camping space if you desire. We now live in Redstone, Colorado along Hwy 133 McClure Pass. Great local riding, both on and off-road.

Even if you are just riding thru and need a place to crash that more than fine.

No garage for your bikes but spare couch or queen bed if I use my own couch. No tent space.

Fifteen minutes from your local bike shop and about 45 minutes to Nashville. Some decent roads in the area and music city close by. Nashville has a BMW dealer as well.

I'm a Blackhawk helicopter pilot on Fort Campbell. I'd prefer a few days notice to prep for guests but same day is fine. If you wanted to check out the on post museum or anything that's always a possibility as well.

We've got two youngsters at home so I can only offer tent space at this time (and you might get a bit of a sprinkler bath if I forget to turn them off ). However I've got some good perks:

Shower
Laundry
Garage space for the bike
Plenty of tools
A kegerator with 2-4 homebrews flowing at all times, good breweries in town if you want to sample the local flavor.
Pretty decent dealer network as well as outdoor shops in town if you need parts or gear, I can provide transport to them for the price of beer :). I've also got a trailer if you need the bike transported to a shop.
I consider myself a decent cook and will provide a home cooked meal for the price of stories from your travels.

I do have two huge dogs but they're big easy going goobers. I also work from home so I'm here most of the time.

PM for email/phone number, I'm on here pretty regularly.

Hi All,

My name is Toby Shannon. I run 'Around the Block Moto Adventures' out of my home in Huanuco, Peru in the central Andes. I know bikes backwards and forwards, but this is not about business:

I would like to offer to any moto travelers to help them along the way by any wrenching and parts they may need. We also have a spare bedroom if you would like to stay with my wife Sara and I. You can have tires and parts sent to me, or I can pick them up for you in Lima (to which I go often) so that you don't have to carry them with you.

Why would I do this? Because it gives me a chance to meet you, encourage you, and most of all to keep you away from Lima lest it taint your experience of Peru. I want to promote riding down the central Andes of Peru and NOT along the Panamercan Highway..

**** Important Edit ****

We had a Total Loss Garage Fire on March 24, 2014 and as of April 30, 2014 still have no idea what is happening as far the the rebuild goes. We're still interested in hosting folks - but it may not be the most convenient for us (or you) until the new building is up.

Services offered:
  • Semi-decent backyard w. space for at least 6 tents.
  • Fire-pit is WIP, should be done soon. Large deck to hang out and grill with gas or charcoal at your disposal.
  • If too windy or wet, my studio is an option, albeit, there's no mattress to sleep on.
  • Garage space is available for up to 3 bikes. Driveway is good sized as well. Safe neighborhood.
  • Limited tools on hand. Most name-brand dealers are in the area, except dedicated BMW or Ducati dealers. However, we have the best race mechanic in the midwest in town, he can wrench on anything and probably do it better. (Check with Indian-Triumph of Fargo and ask for Henry)
  • Hot shower, etc. goes without saying.
  • Cat, who thinks he's a dog is here as well - consider that if you're allergic.

Beer, wine & WiFi shouldn't even have to be mentioned. :)

We're both professionals and ride like we stole 'em. However, we both travel at times and would ask for some forewarning if you're rolling through town and need to crash for a night or two. (I'll even ask her to clean the house thoroughly - and be handed the broom within 2 seconds... )
PM through ADVRider or email to adrenalinc@gmail.com would do the trick.

Well my brother was looking for a place to stay while out of town doing his MSF rider coach training, so I suggested the tent space map. Then I realized we weren't even registered on it...

Location: Colton, New York (wayyyyy up there)

We've got 100+ acres you can camp on, or if it's nasty you can stay on the couch or grab a spot on the floor in our admittedly small house.

Warning: we have three large dogs (two english mastiffs, one walker hound), also have a couple cats if you are allergic to those it would be best to set up on the other side of the property because they like attention and will rub all up on your legs and stuff...

We live in an off-grid house so no internet connection unless you can use 3G but can charge cell phones/laptops/etc off our solar charged batteries.

Stream running through the property, field/orchard or woods to camp in. Plenty of tools to fix bikes (even a welder) but limited under-cover working space if it is raining or snowing ya might have to work outside like me!

Plenty of great riding in the area, as well as some serious offroad on our property if you want to give that a shot. If you decide you hate us I'll even point you in the direction of other places to camp or stay ;)

Beer and food may or may not be provided depending on how broke I am/what season it is

Don't need much notice but at least half a day would be preferred, just PM me on here
