Blue Sea 5025...
I've noticed a couple of folks using these things and am considering the same for my new 1200GS...quick question...are you folks just strapping them into the tool compartment or more of a permanent type mount?

the strap works fine but I put a couple of sheetrock screws of varying length thru the provided holes in the fuse block. Be careful of the relays and other electrical wizadry underneath the tool tray. I also stashed my tire patch kit underneath it. If ever need it I can just unscrew it with multi tool.

I strap mine in too. Makes it easy to lift if I need to get to stuff that is under it.

![]() Mine is strapped there too, plus I have the Touratech "canbus helper" sitting just below it, which I use to power switched gadgets that I want turned off with the ignition key. |

Not a bad way to eliminate turning off a bunch of gadgets when you are done with the bike.
