Maybe I missed it, but how did you acquire your rally? Was it an ex racer or is it another example of the things we here in the states can't get?
Bob

This bike is an ex Dakar Bike, dont know who rode it though.

It was raced by Andy Haydon in the Australian Safari. He DNF'd that year.
Andy Haydon came 3rd in the Dakar as a privateer on a KTM 640. He was a very good rider.

I bought it from a guy in Queensland who had 3, I first bought a 640 Rallye, then this 660 of him in parts. he still has a 2000 660 Rallye.

We might have to organise some LC4 tech days, watch you boys put the 660 together over a few drinkstake it on its madien advride. Although that could be more tech daze ...... .......... , than days

I have the next 2 weeks free so should have the 640 back up and running, or at least definitely know what the issue is.

Wow, Great find there. Onya for keeping it going .

I've always wondered why KTM and other's don't sell a decent consumer version of their rally bikes, the race on sunday, sell on monday philosophy works well in many facets of motorsports. I just love the looks of a full bore rally bike.
