I just had to participate in this....how could this be worse than four eyes on a black blank page?

This is in the Columbia River Gorge, Washington side past Stevenson, looking sorta east. Yes, that is a tunnel in the background. Actually there is a traffic tunnel on the left and a railroad tunnel on the right. There are several in this stretch of the woods.

This is the view to the left of my vantage point in the previous picture. This is one of the few or (maybe only) remaining log flumes in the PNW (Pacific Northwest USA). This is a real historical treasure.

Yes it is!

Between this, Bridges, Beaches and a little while back, Shades of Skys, there has been some GREAT photography around here.

I'll see if I can dig up a tunel

As I look back through the decades, theres a thought that prevails. We are born without a road map and a choice of many trails...........

Has anyone ever ridden through an interstate culvert? They are under all the interstates. You can ride a MC through one. I'll take picture tommorow.

Way Under Ground

Tunnel into Bear Swamp Power Plant, Florida, MA.
All those engines sounded like a giant beast in there.
After this an elevator took us 800? feet down to the turbine room under the Deerfield river.

Think I shoulda brought a tripod on the bike?
