Well, you can go through this tunnel if you want to reach Fort Jafferau, but it is most likely one of the entrances of the Galeria dei Saraceni I mentioned in post #41.

Agreed ... "the" Jafferau tunnel looks more like this on the west side (it's the tiny hole that is about in the center of the picture):

I stopped to take these pics, then just stood there in the total darkness when a few walkers with torches came thru. They hadn't seen me so i jumped out and went BOO!

I don't think they appreciated my sense of humour
