hey Kipa, whats going on with the aluminium piece on the side of the airbox, and is that a fuel regulator where the rear SAS used to be?

It's air-intake with washable pre-filter (made by my unbelievable friend). Filter can be taken off without tools. It is like "Sommer Door" but more clever. Brown reservoir behind air-box is for chain-oiler oil.

Johan, this innovation isn't stolen from anybody. My friend had not heard about Sommer Door, when he made these.

Do you ride on the streets with that bike in the winter? I am looking into getting a DS bike for all year round and it seems this has sparked my interest.

Where about in BC are you? Heard Vancover and area got lots of snow.

YUP..thats a Wurth . I have the last 3 years or so, not worth throwing out.

I'm about 3 hrs North of Van.
Vancouver did get snow but it will soon dissappear in the city and surrounding valley. The snow will stay in the mtns though.
We will have snow on the ground till March or so.
