950 distance ?

I kmow that the 950 enduro is a serious dirt weapon, but could it do a coast to coast ride w/o much trouble. I've got a 640 adv. at the moment.

Bought on Friday... took her for a spin yesterday from Reno to Verdi over Henness Pass to Truckee then FS6 to Tahoe City and back to Reno via 267 and some dirt around Prosser/Stampede.

The stock tires SUCK in snow. Other than that I love it. What can you guys recommend for a better snow/mud tire that will also do some road duty - 75% dirt/snow, 25% road.

I put Duke mirrors on it and soft SM bags. The dealer had the Leo Vince exhaust already installed and jetted. Also mounted and wired up my Zumo gps. Today I'm swapping the bars for a set of Pro Tapers - next week I'll call up Scotts and get the triple clamp so I can use the dampener from my CRF250R.

You know when I was typing that it felt wrong, but the spell checker said it was ok. However, I think you're right on this one ;)

Jeremy - did you hang the soft bags on the pipes directly or did you have a brace on there? Please show a pic of a brace if you did. Thanks

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO - what a ride!"
