Jim here, from Homosassa Springs, just down 19/98 from the Ozello Dragon on the west coast....
If you see me off road on the GS in Florida I was probably run there by some old snowbird..... There are some nice roads in our area that actually have hills and curves...but still plenty of straights for an occasional wheelie.....

Fellsmere, home of the annual Frog Leg Festival here.
![]() Don't ride dirt yet, but desperate to get a bike someday equipped for it and learn. Does anyone here ever get together for street rides? I know it kinda goes against the grain of Adventure but just thought I'd ask. Most folks here seem like my kinda people. I love the gals in the Women's group I belong to but most of them do not ride in the same style as myself...and the local BMW folks are super-sweet and ride closer to my style, but aren't quite the perfect fit in terms of personality. 'Course no group is probably ever the perfect fit and doesn't need to be (I like riding alone as well as with others)...just askin'.

You'll have to keep pushing, sometimes it is harder than you can imagine to get folks to post.
Come to a get-together. I think most of the people on this site like to read the BS but ride the street for their adventure, some ride the dirt when ever possible and as the Sand Fleas say a packed trailer bearing is a reliable trailer bearing.

Is it cool to come to one of the campouts, like the Scrub I guess, on my street bike? Since I don't have a dirt capable bike, I couldn't ride with everyone, but I sure would like to hang around the campfire.
Or would everyone point and laugh and call me a poser?
