Saturday's ride
Not to be confused with Sunday's ride
Barry and I decided late Fridayy night that it would be too hot to do motard racing at E'town; but should be ok for an early morning ride with a get home time before the heat of the day. We had a nice 1/2 day of paved and dirt twistiies. Started off at the F9 and worked our way north to around Rt. 23 before working our way south again. Much of the riding was in the shade, so the riding itself was fine. Just really noticed the heat the last 1/2 hour riding home on the highway. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We figured that because the sign was orange, it was ok for KTMs ![]() And maybe it was- just not these two

Sunday's Ride
Another early start courtesy of the heat. Interesting sight on the way to the diner spotted along route 22...
![]() ![]() Got to the diner and greeted by Terry, Dave, and Chris- all on their A's. Phone rings and it's Frank whining about thinking it's an 8:30 start- so we figure out a reasonable meeting spot. Since I was free lancing the route today it was nbd. Chris has some new wave rotors on his bike, very bling. Says they work good too- especially after he screwed in the caliper bolt that his bozo mechanic ( ) forgot to tighten. Good pickup Dave!So we headed out and did some twisties working our way up to Frank. Our meeting spot was the infamous Capo Bridge: aka Big Snake Bridge- not for what the Capo rider packs (though that's an easily understood mistake), but rather because of the big motha we saw there a few months ago. Managed to arrive a few minutes of each other, and after a quick stop while all four of them told each other what great bikes the 950 A's are, we headed out for some more fun. Typical mix of mostly paved roads for the next few hours- just running up some break-in miles for the forst service- need to vary the throttle, dontcha know Since some of the others had cameras, these are the only pictures I took during a pit stop. ![]() ![]() Rode around some more, then headed to Milford for a pizza stop lunch, after which we said our goodbyes. Post the rest fellas!

Whining ?
no whining was when I pushed your TA 3/4 of a mile in the rain....uphilll. Thats whining Commander. Great ride as always. The 950's were thundering ! Chris and I took a little detour on the way home. We took some old railbed back for a bit. I know we hit 60mph on one stretch I think we came to the conclusion that his forks are just fine. We did a comparo. Great riding with you guys. All we were missing was Joe. Frank

Great riding with y'all on Sunday. Glad I braved the heat! At the speeds we were traveling, I had to keep both hands on the bars, so I didn't get many shots in either, but here's what I got.
At the Washington Diner (I had breakfast there, it was great!)
