I think I'll do that since I can't get xymotic to give me an address to send it to.

TE630 vs TE610 kickstand

So, has anyone done a direct comparison of the TE630's kickstand vs. the one on the TE610?

If the TE630 stand is an easy fix for the short length of the stand that is on the 610, then I'll probably go that route to take care of the too-short-stand issue.

I sent it to Meg cuz you don't have a facebook page and adv PM's are kinda hard to read while driving. (but facebook is easy!)

Dan @ motoxotica physically mounted one up and told me it fits fine. You might wanna give him a call re-length or other questions.

Proud new owner!

Hey all! I picked her up in OKC this weekend.

Only 260 miles, still needs broken in!

OK, I got home at like 8pm last night after a 12 hour drive. I decided not to do anything to the bike, just go to sleep and take the truck to work in the morning. I was dead tired.

About an hour later, I couldn't sleep thinking about it, so I buttoned her up completely put the shrouds and other items on.

Here's the Dash

Then I left a few hours early for work 'just in case' for a little test ride. There's a huge dirt lot owned by Burlington northern right the center of Tacoma. It's got everything, hill climbs, mud bogs, whoops, jumps, trees, roots, and it's forbidden with 'no trespassing' signs all over it. Like I said, perfect

so here's my baby happy to be out of the hospital

It's not like I'm the first person here, and there are some road hazards you have to be mindful of

then I tried a little tight and steep bit to get started.

And it was kind of weird, because before a section like this would have given me some issues. I couldn't really figure it out but the bike just seemed glued to the ground.

So I tried harder and steeper stuff, and then a few whoops and even a few small jumps, and boy oh boy the new suspenders from LTR are
it's radically changed the bike.

I did have to go to work, so I did have to avoid a few puddles like this one:

people leave all kinds of shit in there

On my way into work, you come down a hill and there's a hump and then a dip and then another rise into the driveway. I like to hit it kinda hard and wheelie into the lot.

judging by my skid mark, I may have been a tad over exuberant today! Keep in mind that the front was another 4 feet in front of where the skid stopped

That brings back memories. Many years ago I worked for the security company that patrolled that area on behalf of the buisness accosiation and the railroad (although they still had thier own police who rolled through).

You wouldn't believe me if I told you the crazy crazy stuff we would find there, but just to give an example, how about a 3 foot high mound of pictures of ho-ha's cut out from porn magazines.
