Thoroughly enjoyed your production. Thanks for taking the time to create that.

Dying for a 2013 Beta 520, too cheap to pull the trigger.

Haven't seen any 610's but this one caught my eye the other day:

I just don't "get" how it's possible to have a bike like that and not ride the thing. I put 200 miles on my 610 THE FIRST DAY
89? Eighty frikken nine!? That seat must REALLY suck :)

Quick question for you TE owners: I've heard some talk about Yamaha YZF/WR footpegs working on Huskies and vice-versa. Could someone be awesome and grab some measurements on the stock TE footpegs?

I'm trying to figure out if these will fit my bike:

I noticed that a friend of mine had his low mile 06 (I think) the other day for 55 (I think). I just did a search and it didn't come up, so maybe it sold already.
I guess due to supply the prices seem to be coming back up.
There is a nice 09, (I know EFI) in Salem for 69 with an extra wheel and some other stuff.

I like those Betas too.

In case someone is looking for no-key gas cap that doesn't leak, at Cafe Husky they are available:
610 aftermarket gas cap

I'd be scared to put miles on that too, BMW 450 in a super rare chassis...should be in a museum next to the Edsel.

Whew, those are priced pretty high. To me the '06 is worth about $4200 and the '09 is about $3900...looks really nice though. I mean 7k is within range of haggle room for a Beta down at Dan's shop...MotoXotica.

There has been a Seattle CL listing periodically for a TE630 with something like 300 miles or less on it, asking around $6900 as I recall. It is not posted at the moment, seems to come and go likely as the owner remembers to renew the listing. He notes it as a collectors item. :-).

2013 chain guide rubbing

Stock chain guide inner was wearing out so my dealer gave me what he called a new upgraded guide . Black plastic as standard on all 2013 huskys.

I put it on and it is pretty tight . My chain rubs as it run through it .

My initial thinking was don't worry the xring chain will win and eat away some plastic easily - but now i am a little worried it might throw the master clip ?

Should i leave it or try file some out .

It should not, if you have the clip oriented properly (closed end pointing in direction of chain travel.)

If in doubt, use some safety wire to secure the clip.

I had that same problem.

Unfortunately for you, the fabricator who helped me with it is in Los Angeles. The fixture is basically a bar the width of the inside of the chain guide cage, with a slot machined perfectly centered, the width of the sprocket. With the wheel installed in the swingarm, the bar is clamped to the sprocket and the cage clamped to the bar, and then the cage mount is welded in its correct position on the swingarm.

The little tabs that the guide bolts to are not lined up perfect. I used washers and went with the BRP guide when I replace mine

As i had my valve cover off due to an oil leak through the sealant, i noticed the gear/timing chain seemed to rub a little bit on the cover. Is this normal?
