I had a great time, even though it was cut short. Even the ride back to camp in the sweep truck was good. I'll go again for sure.

Here is a photo of my actual fairing (on a 450) that Ian took yesterday for his website before he shipped it off.

Its Husky blue, tinted screen, HID lowbeam, Halogen highbeam.

I should have it end of next week.

p.s. The reason I selected the Lynx is two fold:
1) The ability to get HID lowbeam (more juice for my electric clothing) combined with Halogen's "flickable" off/on high beam for in traffic
2) The retractable windscreen. Last Tuesday we got into some nasty headwinds riding and I was thinking to myself "damn I'd like to be able to put a windshield up about now"

Unfortunately I shattered my stock light/fairing ... hence the Lynx.
I've been lucky that Toddler lives nearby and has been letting me use his in the meanwhile.

Lets hope I don't shatter this thing... its not cheep

Not sure where North B is... but I will be there for sure. In the fall, I want to try to get a gathering of 610's up here for a few days. Who would be in?????

I'm wrenching today.. have two questions..

(Bike is an 06 - carb)

1) Does anyone know what the wire in my fingers is for? Its not connected to anything... pink, pink, blue wires (total of 3).

2) Has anyone come up with a good way to get the freakin gunge out around the spark plug? I emptied an entire can of carb cleaner into the hole and still crap is coming out. You can see the sludge around the edge of the hole in the photo still...

Compressed air....... umm, before getting it all slimey with carb cleaner.....

I'm street riding now, should hold off on the dirt.... even a small tipover could be bad. Still some healing trouble that might take long time to clear but oh well.

Cleared for masterbation tho........
