Changed the plug #, or just a new one?

My lawyers haven't found a way for me to leach off of your good work here Dan... yet

I think you have a great index going. It is nice and clean, inspiring me to clean up the LC4 index, some more.

Not that I am an indexing expert, but don't be so hasty to reformat your index. I would think that as your bike acquires more threads you will know if and when changes are necessary.

Save your strength...

ride report with TE 610's

Here is a link to my ride report I just posted.
I sort of faded out at the end, but there are a couple of photos y'all should like.
There were 4 or 5 06TE610's on this ride. Wow!!

610 plastics...

Still looking for replacement 610 plastics (blue & yellow). Surely someone has bought new ones. Is my only option the dealer? Will any of the 510 stuff fit?

Thanks,

Mike

Great to see those pictures Chadley... brings back all kinds of good memories. I am still in re-jetting Hell with the 610 but looking forward to getting out again after this "ice storm" passes. Thanks for the report.

Ya Hooo!

Picked up my 07 TE610 yesterday. I noticed the seat isn't quite the plank the 510's seat is. Looks like they've changed the shape of it. Off to read the owner's manual.

I'm picking mine up this weekend. I have to drive 600 miles to get it. In the crate!. Is there anything I should try to get out of the dealer while I'm there? Where should I go for OEM parts online?

Here's a thread on OEM sources from a question I asked on TT:

If you go to the Husky forum at TT there's a sticky at the top of the page with links for whatever goodies you want, for factory parts there's alot of very good knowledgable (sp?) dealers that will ship anywhere ,,,,,,,,,,Motoxotica, Halls, GP cycle,,,,,,etc.

I've heard and read nothing but good things about Motoxotica. Even their homepage is good. Scroll down for the marriage pics

07 Exhaust db level?

Has anybody got info on the noise level of the 07 610 vs the 06, From the pics it looks like a diff muffler on the 07, The 06 was very loud for a stock pipe, I am looking for a quieter pipe for my 06. I have a LeoVince with a Yoshimura quiet core, (better performance and a hair quieter than the heavy stocker) works great but would like to be a little more stealth where I ride.
Thanks

My 07 sounds like a quiet aftermarket pipe is on it. I'll go and check to see if the db level is rated on it.
