Nope,that was Friday only.
Enoree was free today too. Thanks all the vets again!!!!

Left Argyletown at 6:30 and rode to Whitmire(Enoree) SC. Rode all the loops twice and the across the road loop once again. Just got home. 430 mile round trip plus about 48 miles of mud, sand, berms, and uphill and downhill whoops.

That place is frickin FUN!!!!

About half way home, I had to go Botime.

Man...Oglethorpe Speedway Park half mile was amazing!!! Over 200 motorcycles, more than 6 AMA National Expert or Pro riders with single digit National numbers on singles and "unrestricted" twins!!! (The "King of Cool" #2 Expert Kenny Coolbeth on the Factory Harley XR 750, Mikey Martin, Pro singles #1 was running his new for next year Bonneville racing Triumph Expert Twin, Shayna Texter, first woman to win a AMA Pro singles main, National #8 WOW!!! Hey TW...yer "Hero" Jason Griffin was riding his SUPER SWEET, unrestricted TLR1000 Suzuki. The dude in the photo is Dave Singleton, he actually raced my vintage 250 Yamaha in AMA National Pro races back in the '70s. I met him at the Woodleaf race a couple of months ago and he showed up at OSP Saturday morning. I asked if he wanted to practice the bike and he thought I was kidding. He hasn't dirttrack raced in almost 30 years, his 2nd lap on the bike was as fast as I've ever been on it so I let him ride it the rest of the night. Boys...I own a VERY FAST motorcycle...
My "hired gun" was having "issues" with the 250 Bultaco Astro he was riding and is just a kid and couldn't explain to his Dad what it was doing so I took it out and ran it in the heat race It siezed up at about 85 mph diving into turn 3 uh...I think we found the problem...kept it upright, but it was a very interesting ride for a few seconds. No sleep so I passed on A52 today. EDK...been there, done that...they shut those trails down if they get real wet and during the winter for maintenance, It is a good ride...

Anyone care to comment on a new rear tire for my ktm 450 dualsport?

I almost never hit the highway, I trailer it to the mountains and only hit the highway around town getting to local stuff. I have a D908RR on it, and it was not the greatest on the clay I was riding on in georgia, I have a 140/80/18 on it right now, and they are 190 $ !!

I ran a trakmaster II on my xr400, but they dont make it in a 140, only a 120x100x18

I'm a no wheelspin rider most of the time, especially on this bike as it has the torque to stand up whenever I want, I have a tubeless pirelli MT43 trails tire setup for it, but I dont think that'll work as well in the sand here unless I air down, and that's a pain if your going to ride a mile if pavement and then hit the trails

thoughts ?

IT, Love to watch that guy race. Sounds like you had a blast and what a great turn out.

Megad, You need DOT rear? I like the Michelin S12, but it's not DOT. Have a new 1 sitting in the shop. Also got a Michelin M12 in the shop if you want to stop by and take a look at their profiles. Lot's of options out there. Pirelli and Maxxis have a couple of potential candidates for you as well.

Great solo ride today. Did a lap at A53, jumped over to DR and did a couple of laps, left there and hit the powerlines all the way down below Carthage...then reversed course. Stopped at the turn around to catch my breath and take a wizz...that was it.

Hope you guys had fun down at Outback.

Oh EDK, Your 2 buddies almost killed me running DR backwards. WTF?
Looked like they were having fun though.
