Allen's brand I hope.Mixed greens come about when we switch from cutting collards to mustard or turnips, and one of the Mexicans forgets to empty everything from his dump trailer.A note is made of it,and it is labeled as "Mixed".

I ran a trakmaster II on my xr400, but they dont make it in a 140, only a 120x100x18

I'm a no wheelspin rider most of the time, especially on this bike as it has the torque to stand up whenever I want, I have a tubeless pirelli MT43 trails tire setup for it, but I dont think that'll work as well in the sand here unless I air down, and that's a pain if your going to ride a mile if pavement and then hit the trails

thoughts ?
Well to be honest, unless you have your bike inspected at a shop that looks really hard, don't run a DOT tire. You seem to run mostly dirt so you might be better off running a non DOT tire. In the 149 size rear and the aggressive pattern you are looking for would leave 3 to my knowledge.

Metzeler 6Days Extreme
Maxxis M7314 Maxxcross EN
Michelin S12 XC

I have seen the Maxxis and the Michelin and ridden both just never on my bike. I have no knowledge on the Metzeler

If you run a smaller size it would open up many more brands and tread designs. .

Tires

I've tried a lot of different tires and the one I keep going back to is the Pirelli MT-16 rear. For a front, it's hard to go wrong with the Pirelli MX eXTRa front. For a little longer wearing front at the slight expense of off-road traction, try the Pirelli Scorpion Pro.

+1 on NB's recommendations. Waiting for you to chime in bro...couldn't remember the name of Pirelli MX tire we were running, but it is/was one of my favorites. Also like the Kenda Milleville fronts for Sand riding.

You missed 1 heckuva day of riding yesterday. Think a couple of Argyletown riders had to clean out their pants after meeting me head on at the DR HS track.

Maybe it woulda knocked some sense into them. They definitely need a wake up call. I can "set it up".

Took advantage of the 4 day that most were on at Bragg and rode ol A51. Pristine wx and ground conditions. Found some new stuff that will be alot of fun.

EDK, Missed your call...anything important? You bringing back a project bike?

I think I'll try the scorpion pro, I'm a little leary of the s12/m12 on pavement

Here's the MT-16 rear, this is a 120/100, it's a big tall tire you can run at low pressures for great traction and feel:

I seen that too, but what concerned me was the "big wheel" in the lower right...sorta' like what Pastrana and his crowd ride on Nitro Circus... We might need to keep a closer eye on you...

I heard the 200 motor was gettin stuffed in that thing. EDK's ATV pic from the stone age was NB's motivation.
