Theres actually three Uly's there, two used 06 and 1 new left over 07. I think I should just keep the KLR even though it vibrates my hands numb on the highway. I finally got the ride where its comfortable, except when the winds are blowing me off the road!!

Got that extra hour of sunlight you know.
Looks like the wife has the "BUG" that has been going around. I am watching the kids while she goes to the doctor. You guys can feel free to ride on over though.

Check out that Appy in the flea market and tell me what you think. Guy pm'd me and came off the price a bit.
Definately has the right bits on it for sure. I would love to have those radial masters that he has on it. Don't care for the rear rack, but that is a preference thing. Damned bike is wheelie prone as it is without adding more weight to the back! I don't care for the power commanders on these either, but I guess they work for some. I use the TuneBoy program for mine.

What's he dropped down to?

Wind was definately a bitch coming home yesterday. No doubt about that. Should have gone riding today, but ended up splitting wood most of the day and am WHOOPED now!

PM'd ya. I didn't make it ridin today either. Helped a buddy move furniture into his new digs. Like you said - WHOOPED.

Anybody watch the 200 yesterday? Can you believe that BMW HP2S's finished 5th and 6th. Of course the 1200 HPs were running against 600 - 858cc Jap and Italian bikes.

Well the wife has STREP and not the BUG. Now if we can keep the kids from getting it we will be OK.

Was anyone riding one of the back roads coming out of Robesonson county into Hoke this morning about 8:15. Passed a friendly fellow rider on a sport tourer bike. He was wearing a red and black jacket. Was a bit chilly on the ride home from work in the am. About 31 degrees on the thermometer at the station.
How was the rides today?

Truckin and I had a good ride today. It wasn't so much a ballz-to-the-wall sorta ride as it was a "lets get lost" kind of ride. Found lots of new trails, lots of dead ends, and took a few dirt naps to boot.

I was the first to put it down. I was going at a pretty good pace, set up for one of those crank it into the corner and let 'er rip style turns but it got away from me and I gracefully lowsided.

Shortly after that, we climbed up this rickety tower thing...

And then I tranversed this swampy mud hole thing. TT said I couldn't do it, so I had to. Got a little stuck (see the roost track?) and ended up turning around because it didn't go anywhere anyways.

Next, we found this pretty deicent hil that had a mound of dirt across it about 1/3 of the way up. It was tackled with ease.

Here's a pic from my run at it.

Then this little pile of sticks kicked TT's ass.

After that, we managed to find the other side of the dam.

Then we followed some trails that ended out on one of the drop zones. The DZ was an amazing place to ride, but we didn't feel like having an encounter with black helicopters so we rode out. It was a unreal place to ride though....

After that, we rode down to Raeford and split. Good times...

Hate I missed it. I enjoy the exploring kinda rides. I take it from the pics that no one else showed up for the ride?
