Sorry to hear about Magellan's broken collarbone EDK. Guess he's not going to be up for the Ryan Young clinic here at the farm in Oct.

Cool bit of news...NCMP stepped up and will no longer allow quad-tards at the facility. Heard that the only ATV's allowed are those owned by member who previous held annual memberships.

Way to go NCMP!

"Back Wheel Bob" and me marked 2 Trials sections for upcoming CVOTC event here at the "H" and built one of the sickest play areas you'll ever see. Will try and remember to snap a few pics when I'm back there next time.

Great weekend to be riding!

Yeah, I was fighting a Metzeler when MrsDonkeys pulled up and told me to hook up the trailer. They blew an engine on US1. So I picked them yp, hauled it to Cape Fear, ate at Grandsons, and came home to find the Bonnie disassembled. I was hoping it would finish the job on its on. With the help of the father in law, the tire swap was done in 30 minutes. I spent the next 2 hours trying to get the rear wheel back on. I finally quit. This is the most difficult rear wheel setup I have ever seen in my life. If I ever have a roadside flat, I'm just going to set fire to the bike and walk away. I have good insurance.

Drove right by. Had a trailer too. Could have grabbed the Ural, but I thought you were at work.

Hey Gang.. My time back home has been short (Spent some quality time following Tac-T on a Polaris though.) Fixing to head back out to the netherlands shortly but will be making a final assault on Western NC / Eastern TN this weekend on the KLR.

Hit me and Rebster up on PM if anyone is going to be out there. Oh, Tony... I think I have the right fork spring for you. On Leave till the 8th, will be by the office on the 9th.

Never met the guy before, but feel the same way as you, soon as I read it I dusted off the old pay pal account. Good on you Donkeys!

Bull City Rumble, Durham, NC

just fyi
an advert that I hadn't seen mentioned

NCS

The Bull City Rumble is a world-renowned vintage motorcycle and scooter rally hosted by Ton Up NC annually on Labor Day Weekend in Durham, NC. Thematically, the event has its roots in the traditional rivalry of Mods vs. Rockers, the sensationalized clash of two subcultures, scooter riding mods and motorcycle riding rockers, in 1960’s England. The event has evolved from its humble beginnings in a parking lot in 2005 to a multi-venue, multi-day rally drawing thousands of enthusiasts from all over the world.

On Labor Day weekend: Saturday, August 30, 31 and September 1 2013; downtown Durham will again be filled with the sights and sounds of vintage scooters, motorcycles and enthusiasts from all four corners of the globe. The historic Lucky Strike Tobacco Warehouses serve as the backdrop for the annual bike show where judges aren’t necessarily looking for the prettiest and cleanest machines. They are looking for well ridden bikes with personality and craftsmanship.

I really wanted to be in Durham for this. Instead I'm spending the second day in a row car shopping with the in-laws. :(

Looks like she's just going to buy a gas sipper and leave the Harley at my place until December. They'll come back in their truck in December when TC is born and haul it back then.
